What's the difference between SafeManage and SafeShield?

SafeManage protects your management business — commercial general liability, professional liability (E&O), and specialty enhancements, on an annual policy. SafeShield protects the property and the people in it, per stay — covering guest-caused damage to the home and its contents and liability if a guest is hurt. One covers your company; the other covers the stay.

Do I need both — and why?

They cover different risks with only a small overlap. SafeManage handles your professional and business liability year-round; SafeShield handles per-stay guest damage and guest injury for the homes you manage. Owners and platforms leave gaps in both areas — together, the two products close them. Bundle both and we remove the overlap and apply a discount.

Who is protected under SafeShield — me or the owner?

Both. SafeShield is designed to protect the property manager and the property owner against guest-induced damage and guest-injury liability arising from a stay.

Why is errors & omissions (E&O) so important?

Management is a professional service. When something goes wrong, owners hold the manager accountable — from diminished property value to a flood caused by a subcontractor. E&O (part of SafeManage) covers that exposure; general liability alone does not.

Doesn't Airbnb's AirCover already protect my business?

No. AirCover doesn't include professional liability (E&O), limits commercial general liability for managers with 6+ active listings, and doesn't follow you beyond Airbnb to Vrbo, Booking.com, or direct bookings.
